This recipe is simple, delicious and sugar free.
Plus you can top it with a scoop of creamy KetoSkream to really hit the spot ; )
Chocolate Keto Mug Cake Recipe
-makes one serving
1 tablespoon sugar free chocolate chips (we use Krisda Chocolatey Chips)
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon cream
2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
Pinch of salt
2 teaspoons granulated monk fruit sweetener (or another sugar free substitute)
¼ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon ground almond flour
(if you like cinnamon - you can also add a dash for a different flavour!)
1. In a medium glass bowl, melt butter and 1 tablespoon chocolate chips in the microwave for 1 - 2 minutes at 50% power, stirring occasionally until it is fully melted. You want this to be fully melted, but not hot to the touch.
2. Whisk in the egg, cream, cocoa powder, salt, monk fruit sweetener, baking powder, vanilla and almond flour.
3. Pour batter into a large mug and microwave for 60 seconds at 50% power.
4. Let cool for a few minutes before eating so the cake sets then top with a scoop of KetoSkream! The cake should be slightly firm, but also creamy in the middle.
